1.
Raise vehicle and place stands under jacking points of body.
2.
Remove track rod attaching bolts, then the track rod, Figs. 2 and 3. Remove body end of rod first.
3.
Reverse procedure to install, installing rear axle end of rod first. Torque to specifications.
4.
Replace axle side bushings using drift 2731, counterhold 2733 and a hydraulic press. Press in new bushing with counterhold inverted.
5.
Replace body side bushings using drift 2706, counterhold 2733 and a hydraulic press. Press in new bushing with counterhold inverted.
6.
Install track rod and lower vehicle.
