Lower final drive slightly

Disconnect speedometer sensor connector.

Separate drive shafts from final drive. Use screwdriver. Prise and tap alternately between CV joint housing and final drive to release snap ring.
Push out wheel bearing housing

Pull shafts carefully out of final drive to avoid damaging seals.

Tie up shafts.
Lower hoist.
Remove:

final drive
Place final drive on unit hoist with universal fixture 999 5972
Adjust fixture support arms against final drive and lift drive.
Install:
-
drive shafts, taking care to avoid damage to seals.
