Removing
Preparations
Remove:
-
the lower air baffle.
-
soundproofing under engine.
The quick-release connector between fuel hose and fuel line
Warning! Protective gloves and protective goggles should be used for the following operations because of the risk of fuel spillage.
Disconnect the quick-release connector between the fuel hose and fuel line under the fuel filter, by pushing the locking ring into the quick-release
connector and pulling it apart.
Plug the quick-release connector by inserting the shaft of a 6 mm drill bit into it.
Install a rubber plug P/N 1346125 into the fuel line to reduce fuel spillage.
Unscrew the fuel line (11 mm wrench) from the heater fuel pump (counterhold 14 mm wrench).
Install a rubber plug P/N 1346125 into the fuel line to reduce fuel spillage.
Fuel line
Remove the fuel line from the clips on the sub-frame.
There are 2 clips on the front of the sub-frame and 2 on the side of the sub-frame.
Remove fuel line.
