Expansion Valve: Procedures
Replacing Refrigerant Pipe/hose Or Expansion Valve
Special Tools: 999 5385, 999 5472
Before starting work on the refrigerant circuit
WARNING: Follow the safety instructions for work on air conditioning systems.
NOTE:

When replacing a receiver/drier always replace O-rings in pipes and quick-release connectors.

Always plug pipes and connectors when working on the climate control system.

Read the section covering oil in the system.
Replacing refrigerant pipe/hose; compressor - condenser
Removing
-
Drain the system of refrigerant.
-
Remove air baffle.
-
Disconnect pipe/hose from condenser.
-
Disconnect pipe/hose from compressor.
Installing
-
In reverse order.
-
Tighten to 25 ±6 Nm.
