Detach the drain hose and push it to one side

Remove the screws on left and right-hand sides of the cover for the heat exchanger

Remove the screw for the pipe flange for the heat exchanger.
Note! Place plenty of absorbent paper under and around the pipe flange.

Remove the heat exchanger and its cover
-
Remove the heat exchanger the cover.
Installation
Work in the passenger compartment

First read Before starting work on the heat exchanger
-
Install the heat exchanger in the cover.
Note! Check the seal when installing.

Install the heat exchanger and the cover. Align the pipes in the flange
-
Install the screw in the pipe flange on the heat exchanger
-
Install the drain hose.
Work in the engine compartment

Remove the lock grip pliers 115 8957 HOSE PLIERS See: Tools and Equipment/115 8957 Hose Pliers from the hoses
-
Top up the coolant
-
Test for leaks.
Work in the passenger compartment

Install the bracket for the RTI or amplifier if applicable
-
Install the knee bolster if necessary
-
Install the left and right side carpet mountings
