Removal
Preparatory work
To remove the gearbox, see Removing the transmission See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and

Note! The illustrations in the method show a dual mass flywheel, but the method is the same for cars with a solid flywheel
Removing the flywheel
Remove the engine speed (RPM) sensor with bracket and put to one side.
Undo all screws to the flywheel. Remove all screws apart from one.
Remove the gear sector 999 5112 GEAR SECTOR See: Tools and Equipment/999 5112 Gear Sector.
Detach the flywheel from the crankshaft and remove the remaining screw.
Remove the flywheel.
