Remove:

the connector
-
wiring
-
the spring. See Tension spring See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat/Second Generation Power Seats/Tension Spring.
Remove:
-
two plus two screws on the right hand side of the transmission
-
two plus one screws on the left hand side.
