9. Separate end cover from pump housing.
a. Mount pump horizontally in vise. This is necessary to ensure that rotor does not fall out of housing when cover is removed.
b. Use drift. Tap out pressure plate center guide, but only sufficiently to release end cover from housing. Remove cover.
c. Carefully turn pump housing upward so that rotor does not fall out.
10. Remove:

O-ring from pump housing.

Pump ring locating pins.
-
Pump ring.
-
Rotor and vanes.
-
Pressure plate.
-
O-ring from pressure plate.
-
Pressure plate locating pin.
-
Spring.
-
O-ring from retainer in pump housing.
11. Tap out O-ring retainer from pump housing. Use drift.
12. Wash and inspect all components thoroughly. Replace damaged or worn components.
