agent, P/N 1161432-8, after tightening nuts.
The camber must be adjusted if the measured value exceeds a tolerance of 0 ± 1°.
The difference between the left and right sides must not exceed 1°.
1. Jack up car and remove wheel.
2. Cars with sleeves in steering knuckle (stub axle carrier): Remove upper sleeve (or, if necessary, both sleeves, depending on degree of adjustment
required) from steering knuckle (stub axle carrier). Removal of one sleeve will produce a change in camber of approximately 0.5°. Removal of
both sleeves will change value by approximately 1°.
3. Cars without sleeves in steering knuckle (stub axle carrier): Replace bolts and nuts, and adjust as described below.
NOTE: Install new bolts and nuts.
a. Tighten bolts slightly without preventing movement of steering knuckle (stub axle carrier) outward or inward with respect to strut (although
with a degree of resistance) Move steering knuckle outward or inward to extent permitted by play between bolts and holes.
b. After adjustment, tighten both bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.) and through further 90°.
4. Mount wheel.
a. Lubricate wheel locating pin on hub with anti-rust agent, P/N 1161030-0.
b. First tighten wheel studs lightly, then tighten in diagonal order to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).
