apply to the contact rail to ensure a good contact.
CDA18. Installation of selector, steering column cover and steering wheel.
Install:
2 screws, Torx 20, on each selector
3 screws, Torx 20, on the steering column cover.
CAUTION! Do not turn the steering wheel when the contact reel is locked or the pin on the contact reel will break.
Put the wires and the plastic tape through the opening in the steering wheel and then install the steering wheel without turning it.
CAUTION! When installing the steering wheel put it in the correct position in relation to the direction the wheels are facing.
If the steering wheel is not in the correct position, do not turn it when it is on the steering column. Carefully remove the steering wheel and try
again.
CDA19. Installing the retaining screw in the centre of the steering wheel.
CAUTION! Tighten the screw finger tight only. Do not use any tools.
CDA20. Unlocking the contact reel
Remove the screw from locking position (B) and install it in parking position (A). Move the plastic tape with the screw. The contact reel is now
unlocked and the steering wheel can be turned.
