upwards in a place where it will be protected from careless handling.
First remove the radio from the climate control system. Then push out the climate control system from the inside.
CDD7. Removal of SRS airbag from the cover panel
WARNING! Never use an ohmmeter or any other charged measuring instrument on a disconnected, unreleased airbag module. There is a risk
that the module could be released.
CAUTION! Only the screws and nuts shown in the figure must be removed.
WARNING! Do not disassemble or repair the passenger side airbag module or install it in another vehicle.
Remove 6 screws M6, 10 mm (0.4 inch), from the passenger side airbag module. When installing, torque setting = 10 Nm (7.5 ft-lb).
Assembly
CDD8. Assemble in reverse order.
Then continue with final work.
WARNING! Before assembling, turn the ignition key to position II. Then connect the battery negative lead. Make sure that nobody is inside the
car when connecting the battery.

NOTE! Do not forget to replace the airbag date label on the driver's side B pillar with a new label.
