If a removed SIPS bag is to be scrapped 
-

Make sure that transport safety device is on sensor unit.

-

Lock SIPS bag cushion module in a vise, so that cushion is aimed away from sensor unit.

Make sure that cushion module is securely held in vise and that there are no loose parts around the cushion module.

Remove transport safety device from sensor unit.

-

Stand as far from the module as practical, and in an area away from the direction the cushion will release.

-

Hit middle of sensor unit with a hammer.
