The right-hand section of the illustration shows a new version of the wiper blade stop lug.

Check which version of the rubber stop is installed.

Replace the wiper blade stop lug if it is the early version. See the method below.

Remove the existing stop lug. Pull off the stop using pliers (left-hand section of the illustration).

Install the new stop lug as illustrated by pressing the stop lug on to the mounting (right-hand section of the illustration).

Note!

The The stop lug must be installed as illustrated. If not installed correctly, the wiper arm may get stuck underneath the stop lug.
