XC90 L5-2.5L Turbo VIN 59 B5254T2 (2004)
Install the lines according to the noted routing.
Tighten the return line and the delivery line to the steering gear. Tighten to Tightening torque See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications.
Note! Use a new O-ring on the tube at the steering gear.
Install the clips holding the same lines.
Installing the steering arms to the wheel spindles
Install the steering arms to the wheel spindles. Use new lock nuts.
Tighten, see: Tightening torque See: Specifications/Mechanical Specifications. Use 951 2050 BEVEL PROTRACTOR See: Tools and Equipment/951
2050 Bevel Protractor.
Installing the sub-frame
Install the sub-frame. See: Sub-frame front, replacing See: Suspension/Subframe/Front Subframe/Service and Repair.
Installing the screw on the lower steering shaft
Note! Always check carefully that the ball joint's screw hole aligns with the cut-out in the steering gear shaft.
