Tap out the sealing ring.
Use a screwdriver.

Installing the sealing ring

Install the sealing ring for the adjustment nut.
Lubricate the sealing ring lip using wheel bearing grease, P/N 116 1241-3.
Use drift 999 5655 Punch See: Tools and Equipment/999 5655 Punch. Tap in the seal until the drift bottoms on its stop against the nut.
Install a new O-ring on the nut. Lubricate the O-ring and threads with wheel bearing grease as above.

Installing the adjustment nut

Install the adjustment nut.
Use wrench 999 5371 NUTS-DIFF.BEARING) 1035 See: Tools and Equipment/999 5371 Nuts-Diff. Bearing 1035 Turn the propeller shaft when the
nut is tightened to its previously measured position.
