Removal and Installation

Installer, Timing Cover Seal

Removal

  1. Remove the right-hand halfshaft.
    Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation).

  1. Discard the constant velocity (CV) joint boot

  1. Special Tool(s): 205-310

Installation
  1. Special Tool(s): 205-080, 303-255

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Make sure that a new inner constant velocity (CV) joint boot is installed.
    Apply grease to the constant velocity (CV) joint.
    Refer to: Specifications (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Specifications).
  1. Install the right-hand halfshaft.
    Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation).
