Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Gearbox extractor set -U-40100-

t	Gearbox repair set -U-40200-

t	Gearbox repair set -U-40300-

1 -	Clutch housing

2 -	Axial/radial needle bearing

q	Remove → Fig.

q	After installation, the axial/radial needle bearing must always be renewed

q	Fit → Fig.

3 -	Reverse gear

4 -	Safety ring

q	Use tool -A-81124- to remove the circlip

q	Always renew

5 -	Reverse sliding gear

q	Assembly position: the sprocket collar must face the reverse gear

6 -	Reverse gear shaft

q	Remove → Chapter, Input shaft, layshaft, differential and gearbox forks: removing and installing

7 -	Axial/radial needle bearing

q	Remove → Fig.

q	After removal, the axial/radial needle bearing must always be renewed

q	Fit → Fig.

8 -	Reverse gear shaft support

Remove the axial/radial needle bearing from the clutch casing –  Expand claws of tool -U-40300/6- threading screw -1-. –  Turn nut -2- until the axial/radial needle bearing is removed.

Install the axial/radial needle bearing in the clutch casing

Remove the support axial/radial needle bearing of the reverse gear support

Install the support axial/radial needle bearing of the reverse gear support
