Fluid Pump, Disassemble and Assemble (AF 17)
Note: This operation
is only required if the fluid pump needs cleaning.
 Remove
Remove fluid pump – see operation "Fluid Pump, Remove and
Install (AF 17)".
Disassemble fluid pump in accordance with explosion drawing.

 Clean
Thoroughly clean all components.
Inspect
Check all parts for wear. If necessary, replace fluid pump.
Install
Assemble fluid pump in accordance with explosion drawing.

Mark (arrow) on driven gear (2) points to fluid pump plate
(1).

Inspect
|
Check liner (arrow) in pump housing for damage and/or wear,
replace fluid pump if necessary.
Install
Drive in new seal ring (1) with KM-674 (3).
Install new O-ring (2).
Install new seal ring (slotted) (4).
Attach fastening bolts (8 units) for fluid pump plate to
transmission housing – tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf.

Install fluid pump – see operation "Fluid Pump, Remove and
Install (AF 17)".
