t  Renew sealing rings.
t  Do not reuse drained hydraulic fluid.

1 - Spring retainer
q   Introduction: As of 08.93.
q   In vehicles with air conditioner, bracket can only be removed once bracket for air conditioner compressor has been removed → 6-cyl. petrol engine; Rep. Gr.87
2 - Allen head bolt, M8 x 30
q   25 Nm
3 - Fitted bolt M8 x 28
q   25 Nm
4 - Allen head bolt, M8 x 38
q   25 Nm
5 - Washer
6 - Fitted bolt M8 x 20
q   25 Nm
7 - Allen head bolt, M8 x 30
q   25 Nm
8 - Allen head bolt, M8 x 30
q   25 Nm
9 - Hexagon bolt M8 x 30
q   25 Nm
10 - Allen head bolt, M8 x 20
q   25 Nm

q   Counter hold at hub with 10 mm Allen key. Reduce size of Allen key to 9.5 mm if necessary.
15 - Poly-V-belt
q   Allocation → Electronic parts catalogue “ETKA”.
q   Tension via tensioning roller.
q   Removing and belt routing → 6-cyl. F.I. engine; Rep. Gr.13
16 - Suction hose
17 - Hose clip
18 - Oil seal
19 - Hydraulic line
20 - Banjo bolt, 30 Nm
21 - Vane pump
q   Delivery pressure: 85 ... 95 bar.
q   Checking → Chapter
q   Fill with fluid before installing → Chapter
q   Checking condition → Booklet35.
22 - Spring retainer
q   No longer supplied as spare part; bracket → Item is supplied instead.
q   In vehicles with air conditioner, bracket can only be removed once bracket for air conditioner compressor has been removed → 6-cyl. petrol engine; Rep. Gr.87
