Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF postition, then disconnect the battery negative terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

Proceed with the removal - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r.

1.6 TS · 103 CV

Proceed with the removal - 1080B62 catalytic converter - r + r.

1.6 TS · 120 CV

Proceed with the removal - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r.

1.6 TS

Release the electrical wiring for the engine rpm sensor from the fastenings on the modular intake manifold.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the engine rpm sensor (1b).

Refitting

Place the engine rpm sensor back in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolt to the recommended torque.

Secure the electrical wiring for the engine rpm sensor to the fastenings on the modular intake manifold.

Proceed with the refitting - 1080B62 catalytic converter - r + r.

1.6 TS · 120 CV

Proceed with the refitting - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r.

1.6 TS

Proceed with the refitting - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r.

Connect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

Connect the battery terminal (-).

Remove the car from the ramp.

2.0 TS

Removing

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Ensure that the ignition key is in the OFF postition, then disconnect the battery negative terminal.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

Proceed with the removal - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r.

Proceed with the removal - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r.

Proceed with the removal - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r.

Release the electrical wiring for the engine rpm sensor from the fastenings on the modular intake manifold.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the engine rpm sensor (1b).

Refitting

Place the engine rpm sensor back in its housing and secure it by tightening the bolt to the recommended torque.

Secure the electrical wiring for the engine rpm sensor to the fastenings on the modular intake manifold.

Proceed with the refitting - 1080B40 catalytic pre-converter - r r.

Proceed with the refitting - 1072C44 exhaust manifold heat shield on bulkhead - r+r.

Proceed with the refitting - 7055B54 under-engine guard - r r.

Connect the electrical connection for the engine rpm sensor.

Connect the battery terminal (-).

Remove the car from the ramp.
