Single engine belt r r

Refitting

Fit a new single drive belt on the pullies.

Do not allow oil or solvents to come into contact with the belt, as these could affect the flexibility of the rubber, resulting in reduced grip. Also check that there are no cracks or cuts on the belt, otherwise it will have to be replaced.

The tensioning device is automatic: a preloaded spring adjusts the belt to the correct tension upon installation and automatically takes up any slack in the belt generated during normal operation.

Act on the automatic tensioning device and place it in the maximum pre-loading position, fit the auxiliary shaft drive belt and slowly release the tensioning device.
