CLUTCH PEDAL HARDENING

1.6 TS

When the clutch pedal is pressed, the resistance is excessive,

Since this symptom is 'subjective', make sure that there really is an effective hardening compared with the previous condition which was considered 'normal'

Results of the tests
1CLUTCH PEDAL CHECKSAll OKProblems metOperation
Check the clutch pedal travelContinue to Step 2Pedal travel not correctRestore the operation of the clutch pedal
2CLUTCH OPERATING ACTUATOR CHECKAll OKProblems metOperation

Check the condition of the clutch actuator, inside the bell housing

Start up the engine and check that the supply pressure does not decrease

Continue to Step 3Clutch actuator faulty or oil leaksReplace the components involved
3CHECK SPLINED HUBAll OKProblems metOperation
