Removal

Proceed with the removal See Op. 1016A40 Ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r .

Proceed with the removal See Op. 1008C10 Power unit reaction link - replace .

Proceed with the removal See Op. 4130B10 Power steering fluid reservoir - r+r - includes bleeding .

1 Disconnect the supply pipe from the power assisted steering fluid reservoir to the pump, pump side and remove.

Refitting

Refit the feed pipe from fluid reservoir to power steering pump in its housing and connect to the power steering pump side.

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 4130B10 Power steering fluid reservoir - r+r - includes bleeding .

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 1008C10 Power unit reaction link - replace .

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 1016A40 Ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r .

Fill the power steering circuit with the recommended fluid.

Product for POWER ASSISTED STEERING CIRCUIT: Liquid

Bleed the power steerign system as described below.

With the front wheels raised off the ground, with the engine switched off, carry out 4-5 complete steering wheel rotation cycles (left and right).

Check and, if necessary, top up the fluid level in the reservoir.

Position the vehicle on the ground and start up the engine.

Carry out 4 - 5 complete steering wheel rotations (right and left).

Top up the fluid level in the reservoir.
