Operation 4420B18 · Rear suspension wishbones

Removal

Position the vehicle on the ramp.

Proceed with the removal See Op. 4450B11 Rear wheel (one) - r r .

1 Undo bolt 1a and disconnect the rear suspension rear wishbone 1b from the rear steering knuckle.

2 Remove the spacer.

1 Undo the bolt 1a and remove the rear suspension rear wishbone 1b.

Refitting

1 Refit the rear suspension rear wishbone 1a and secure temporarily by means of nut 1b and locknut 1c.

1 Connect the rear suspension rear wishbone 1a with spacer 1b to the rear steering knuckle and secure by tightening bolt 1c to the specified torque.

Bolt M12 – Rear suspension rear wishbones 1c: (Rear wheel hub stub axle side.) 11.1 ÷ 13.5 daNm

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 4450B11 Rear wheel (one) - r r .

Remove the car from the ramp.

Proceed with the refitting See Op. 4450A40 Rear wheel geometry - check using optical equipment .
