Removing and installing roof aerial
Removing and installing roof aerial
The roof aerial -R216- has one connection.
The aerial wire is plugged in at the roof cross member (left-side).
To remove roof aerial -R216-, lower headliner at rear.
–  Switch off ignition and all electrical equipment and remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Lower moulded headliner at rear → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Release and unplug connector -2- for aerial wire.
–  Unscrew nut -1-.
–  Lift roof aerial -R216--3- off roof.
Installing
–  Guide in aerial wire through roof opening and carefully fit roof aerial -R216- onto roof.
–  Ensure that seal is seated properly.
–  Install in reverse sequence of removal.
Tightening torques → Chapter
