Removing and installing pendulum support
Removing and installing pendulum support
   
Removing
–  Remove noise insulation (centre) by releasing fasteners -1 ... 3-.
  A10-1565
–  Unscrew bolts -1 ... 3- and remove pendulum support.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter „Exploded view - assembly mountings“

Gearbox with thread inserts (e.g. “HeliCoil”) for securing pendulum support
  Note
t  Gearboxes manufactured from 28 05 7 onwards have thread inserts (e.g. “HeliCoil”) in the bolt holes for the pendulum support.
t  These can be recognised by the shoulder on the first thread turn -arrow-.
t  Different tightening torques → Item
t  Select correct securing bolts from → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Install noise insulation → Rep. Gr.66.
