ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS / NOT WORKING

When the ignition is in the ON position, when the buttons located in the doors are operated the electric front windows do not work at all.

0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check: That there are no obstacles preventing the travel of the window; Check whether the windows do not work in all situations (manual and/or automatic operation);	Move on to Step	1. Presence of obstacles	1. Restore the correct mechanical operation of the opening/closing of the window
		Move on to Step	2. The windows work manually (the window opens/closes when the button is pressed) but not automatically. See table M02 ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS / NOT WORKING IN AUTOMATIC MODE	2. Continue following the instructions in Table M02

	Check the operation of the front window switches	Move on to Step	Switch faulty	Replace the window opening switch
2	CHECK WINDOWS ELECTRIC CIRCUIT	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the following, in order: Window opening fuses, Window opening switches power supply and earth, Services control unit power supply, Connection between services control unit and electric window switches, Connection between switch control unit and window opening switches, Connection between services control unit and electric window motors,	Move on to Step	1. Component defective	1. Replace the component involved (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow).
		Move on to Step	2. Connections not correct	2. Repair the connections See E3050 ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS
3	SERVICES CONTROL UNIT CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the services control unit is working properly, in particular that a command from a window opening switch to the services control unit has a corresponding output power supply for the appropriate electric window motor, See E3050 ELECTRIC FRONT WINDOWS	Move on to Step	Control unit not working	Replace the services control unit
4	ELECTRIC WINDOWS MOTOR CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check the operation of the electric window motors	Move on to Step	Electric window motor faulty	Replace the electric window motor
5	ELECTRIC WINDOW CHECK	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the mechanical section of the window opening device is working properly and is correctly fastened	Move on to Step	1. Window opening device incorrectly fastened or adjusted	1. Restore the operation of the window opening device
		Move on to Step	2. Electric window device faulty	2. Replace the window opening device
6	CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATION	ALL OK	PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED	ACTION
	Check that the fault is no longer present
