3. Refitting (page 5 of 6)

CAUTION : Always replace the cylinder head cover seals.

CAUTION : Take care with the positioning of the fixings (9) of the cylinder head cover (10).

Refit :

• The cylinder head cover (10) fitted with new injector seals
• The 12 fixings (9) of the cylinder head cover (10)

CAUTION : Keep to the sequence of tightening as well as the tightening torques.

Refit :

• The vacuum pump and support (4) assembly Fit new seals ((7), (8))
• The EGR heat exchanger (5)
• The high pressure fuel pump support (1)

Couple up :

• The pipe (6)
• The pipe (3)
• The vacuum pipe (2)

Refit :

• The fuel high pressure pump
• The injectors
• The expansion bottle and power steering oil reservoir support
• The longitudinal engine support bar

Remove :

• The engine top mounting
