Checking coil spring and shock absorber assembly components

eye Coil spring:	Thrust bearing:	Bearing seat:
ensure that there are no cracks or defects which might prejudice ist efficiency	check that there are no signs of wear	to be filled width MR3 grease when fitting

NOTE Before compressing the spring, ensure that the shock absorber stem is perpendicular to the support plate: this can be achieved by regulating the adjustment screws shown by the arrows.

Shock absorber:	Buffer	Bracket for fixing shock absorber to bodyshell
if there are any defects in the shock absorber it is replaced in one piece		check that the rubber parts are in good condition
