Removing

  • Remove the fixing cover trim for the external rear view mirror;
Diagram showing the extraction of the rear view mirror from its housing and the fixing ring nut area
  • extract the rear view mirror from its housing;
  • undo the fixing ring nut using tool 1859008000.

The replacement of the rear view mirror trim is illustrated on page 41 onwards.

Refitting

To refit reverse the order of the operations carried out for the removal.
