REMOVING-REFITTING TAILGATE

Rear parcel shelf lifting cable attachment point on the tailgate

Removing

  • Release the rear parcel shelf lifting cables from the tailgate;
Fixing bolt for the tailgate cover panel
Tailgate cover panel release mechanism with arrow indicator
  • undo the fixing bolt for the tailgate cover panel;
Open tailgate showing tool 1878077000 positioned to separate cover panel
Detached tailgate cover panel removed from retaining springs
  • using tool 1878077000, separate the cover panel from the retaining springs on the tailgate;
  • remove the cover panel from the tailgate;
