Sequence of operations

Before fitting the sunroof operating motor to the vehicle, the following checks need to be carried out:

• On the motor, check that the microswitch pin is positioned in the recess in the cam, as illustrated in the bottom insert;
• if the microswitch is not in the above-mentioned position, the cam should be rotated, using the special key as described on page 157, until it is brought to the correct position;

NOTE The motor is supplied as a spare part in a suitable position for correct fitting with the sunroof in the "spoiler" position (fully raised).

• check that the sunroof is in the "spoiler" position before refitting the motor to the vehicle.
