• after levelling the sealant thoroughly clean the window glass housing using compressed air and then degrease it using heptane and disposable paper;

NOTE When refitting the window glass, remove the traces of old sealant before applying the new sealant.

• remove the old sealant using the thermal knife with the appropriate blade;

• scrape the remaining residues of sealant using a special scraper, taking care not to damage the serigraphed area of the window glass;
