Refitting

(Cont. Op.1092B50)

• Remove the front right supplementary wheel housing (see Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R+R).
• Loosen the alternator fastening screws (1a) and remove the alternator / water pump belt (1b).

Refitting

• Fit the alternator / water pump belt on the pulleys.
• Follow Op. 1092B54 Alternator / water pump BELT - Tension adjustment.
• Complete with Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R.R.
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Complete with Op. 4450B10 Front WHEEL (one) - R.R.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the hoist.

1092B54 - ALTERNATOR / WATER PUMP BELT - TENSION ADJUSTMENT

• Position the vehicle on a hoist.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

• Raise the vehicle.
• Remove the front right wheel (see Op. 4450B10 front WHEEL (one) - R+R).
• Unscrew the engine compartment protection screws.
• Remove the engine compartment protection.

• Remove the front right supplementary wheel housing (see Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R+R).
• Loosen the alternator securing screws.
• Move the alternator (2a) to tighten the water pump / alternator belt (2b) and tighten the alternator lower screw (2c).

• Check the tension of the water pump/alternator belt with the tool

Tensioning value for belt used (not run-in previously)
