  1. Take out the rear flexible supports of the exhaust silencer.

  1. Take out the front flexible support of the exhaust silencer and remove the exhaust pipe.

Refitting

  • Fit the exhaust pipe back in place.
  • Insert the exhaust silencer front flexible support.
  • Insert the exhaust silencer rear flexible supports.
  • Complete with Op. 1076B50 Exhaust PIPE attachment to engine/manifold - R+R.
  • Lower the vehicle.
  • Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

  • Close the engine compartment.
  • Remove the vehicle from the hoist.

1076B20 - REAR EXHAUST SILENCER - R+R

Removal

  • Place the car on the hoist and raise it.
  1. Loosen the exhaust silencer flange nut.
  2. Take out the exhaust silencer front flexible support.

  1. Take out the rear flexible supports and remove the exhaust silencer.

Refitting

  • Fit the rear exhaust silencer back in place, connecting it to the catalytic converter.
  • Insert the exhaust silencer front flexible support.
  • Insert the exhaust silencer rear flexible supports.
  • Tighten the exhaust silencer flange nut to correct torque

  • Lower the car and remove it from the hoist.
