Refitting

(Cont. Op. 1072C10)

1. Remove the air cleaner cover with the pipes and throttle case air conveyor .

1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the throttle case.

• Follow Op. 1072C44 Exhaust manifold heat shield BULKHEAD - R+R

1. Take out the thermostatic device hot air inlet sleeve from the exhaust manifold.

• Raise the vehicle.
• Follow Op. 1076B50 Exhaust PIPE attachment to engine / manifold - R+R
• Lower the vehicle.

1. Unscrew the nuts (1a) that fasten the hot air intake (1b) to the exhaust manifold and remove.
2. Unscrew the nuts (2a) that fasten the exhaust manifold(2b) to the cylinder head and remove.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

Refitting

• Assemble the exhaust manifold gasket.
• Assemble the exhaust manifold and tighten the nuts to correct torque

• Raise the vehicle.
• Complete with Op. 1076B50 Exhaust PIPE at-tachment to engine/manifold - R+R.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Fit the hot air intake on the exhaust manifold and fasten with its nuts.
• Insert the hot air inlet sleeve onto the thermo-static device of the exhaust manifold.
• Complete with Op. 1072C44 Exhaust manifold heat shield BULKHEAD - R+R
• Connect the accelerator control cable to the throttle case.
• Complete with Op. 1068A10 ACCELERATOR PEDAL CONTROL- Check, adjustment if neces-sary and lubrication.
• Refit the air cleaner cover with the pipes and throttle case air conveyor.
• Insert the oil vapours recovery pipe on the throt-tle case.
• Insert the oil vapours recovery pipe on the tap-pet cover.
• Tighten the throttle case air conveyor screws.
• Hook the air cleaner cover clasps.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal
