2. Remove the front damper.

Disassembly

1. Place the front damper (1a) on the pneumatic tool for compressing springs (1b)

1. Compress the damper spring.
2. Slacken the nut (2a) locking the damper stem using the tool (2b)

• Release the damper spring.
• Withdraw the components from the front damper unit.

Reassembly

Note: For replacing dampers adhere to the following instructions.
- If the dampers have been used for over 20,000/25,000 Km always replace both dampers of each axle together, taking care to assemble dampers of the same type among those provided as spares on the same axle.
- If the dampers have been used for less than 20,000/25,000 Km only one damper may be changed, provided that the new one is of the same type and after checking that the other damper is in perfect operating conditions.

• Insert the components on the front damper unit.
• Compress the damper spring using the pneumatic tool for compressing springs

1. Lock the damper stem using the tool (1a) and screw the nut (1b) without tightening it
