V10 Sunroof water leaks

In the rain or after washing the car, water leaks are noted through the sunroof

1 CHECK SUNROOF DRAINS

Check sunroof draining pipes.
In particular, check:
– intactness of pipes
– there is no dirt, leaves, etc.

 All OK
Go to Step 2		 Problems found
Dirt in drains		 Intervention
Clean drains. If required, restore correct assembly PROCEDURE OP. 7030C30
2 CHECK SUNROOF SEAL

Check sunroof seal. In particular, check:
– that there are no creases in seal
– intactness of seal

 All OK
Go to Step 3		 Problems found
Faulty seal assembly		 Intervention
Restore correct assembly of seal PROCEDURE OP. 7030C14
3 CHECK SUNROOF ALIGNMENT

Check sunroof assembly. In particular, check:
– correct sunroof-frame alignment
– correct seal adherence to sunroof

 All OK
Go to Step 4		 Problems found
Faulty sunroof assembly		 Intervention
Restore correct sunroof assembly PROCEDURE OP. 7030C10
4 CHECK TIGHTNESS OF SUNROOF RUNNER FASTENING SCREWS

Check tightness of runner fastening screws to the sunroof frame

 All OK
Go to Step 5		 Problems found
Incorrect screw fastening		 Intervention
Restore correct fastening of sunroof runners and check tightness
5 CHECK CORRECT OPERATION

Check the fault is no longer present

 All OK
End of test		 Problems found
