DESCRIPTION
The side lights are switched on at the first position of the stalk unit ring nut, only with the key on RUN.
These can also be switched on removing the key and turning it in the reverse direction - PARK position - keeping the relevant button pressed.
The rear side lights are double wire type, used also by the stop lights.
Together with the side lights the number plate lights and various other internal lights for passenger compartment lighting, clusters and controls are also switched on(these lines are described and illustrated in the diagrams of the components they refer to).
The side lights circuit is protected by two fuses in the junction unit: one for the front right and rear left lights, the other for the left front and rear right lights.
A warning light on the switch control group indicates that the side lights have been switched on.
