DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
The side lights activation signal reaches the ignition switch H1 (PARK) when the stalk unit H5, is correctly switched; this is an ingnition switch power supply (INT) of the line protected by fuse F20 of junction unit B1.
Alternative - with the key in PARK position - the supply arrives direct from the battery. (maxifuse IGN of B5).
From switch H1 (SIDE), the supply is sent to the various side lights through the lines protected by fuses F4 and F5 of junction unit B1.
The first protects the front right headlamp F11, rear left taillight F30 and left number plate F50 circuits.
The second protects the front left headlamp F10, rear right taillight F31 and right number plate F51 circuits.
At the same time - on pin 3 of connector A - power is supplied to the "side lights on" warning light - inside clusterE50, whereas pin 6 of connector B supplies the earth.
