DESCRIPTION

The simultaneous activation of the door lock motors is through:

  • the key;
  • the switches (knobs);
  • the remote control (if present)

The lock activation is controlled by a control unit under the dashboard near the radio.

The unit controls the actual state of the locks; in fact, the "lock" or "unlock" command is only performed with the doors properly closed: if the door in question is not closed properly the command is not carried out; if the door opposite that commandedis not closed properly there is an immediate "repulsion" (which means the opposite action is taken to "realign" the locks).

In versions fitted with alarm, the "lock" or "unlock" is also performed through the remote control receiver.

The door locking circuit is protected by the optional services power supply fuse, in the engine compartment next to the MAXI FUSES; it is also protected by a fuse in the junction unit.
