DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

The door lock control unit M80 manages this circuit.

Control unit M80 (pin +) is supplied directly from the battery though the line of fuse F1 of junction unit B1 and by power supply fuse B50 that protects several optional services;the pin (-) supplies the earth reference.

Control unit M80 recieves in input the signals coming from locks N50 and N51:

  • to lock if the earth signal passes from pin 2 to pin 3 of M80;
  • to unlock if instead the earth signal passes from pin 3 to pin 2 of M80.

In versions fitted with alarm the same signals arrive from pins 5 and 6 of receiverM35.

On the basis of the logic described, control unit M80 controls simultaneously from pins 1M and 2M the two locks N50 and N51:

  • lock signal: 12V from pin 2M and earth to pin 1M;
  • unlock signal: 12V from pin 1M and earth to pin 1M;
