DESCRIPTION

The air conditioning system integrates the simple, but practical heater with an operation to produce cool, moist air obtained by means of the compressor and the cooling system.

The climate control of the car is by means of three knobs in the centre of the dashboard:

  • the left-hand knob mechanically controls the hot-cold air mixing flap;
  • the right-hand knob mechanically controls, through a flexible transmission, the opening of theflaps that regulate the air flow;
  • the centre knob electrically controls the air ventilation at different speeds.

There is also a pointer under the knobs that mechanically regulates the "recirculation" through flexiblew transmission.

The right-hand button on the switches control group controls the air conditioner compressor. (see E6021 -COMPRESSOR ACTIVATION).

The control group lights up when the side lights are switched on.

For further details, see DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION 5040

The fan circuit is protected by a fuse and controlled by the power supply cut-off relay, located in the junction unit

The climate control system only operates when the key is on RUN.
