Operation 7045A43 · Front seat assembly

Removing

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

- 7045A10 l/h or r/h front seat (one) - r+r

- 7045A24 squab knob - r r

- 7045A52 squab rake adjustment device outer guard one lh or rh r r

1. Raise the lever and undo the fixing bolt.

Electric seats

Removing

- 7045A10 l/h or r/h front seat (one) - r+r

- 7045A52 squab rake adjustment device outer guard one lh or rh r r

- 7045J50 driver's side front seat position memorisation system ecu - r+r following electrical wiring check

1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a) and remove the seat inner shield (1b).

All versions

1. Release the front seat height adjustment lever and remove it.

Electric seats

1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a), remove the guard from the pin (1b) and remove the front seat outer shield (1c).

All versions

1. Release the cap (1a) and undo the bolt (1a) underneath.

2. Undo the rear fixing bolt (2a) and remove the inner protection (2b) for the front seat backrest/cushion join.

Electric seats

Refitting

Fit the front seat outer shield, making sure to centre the positioning pin, then tighten the fixing bolts.

Fit the seat inner shield and tighten the fixing bolt.

- 7045A10 l/h or r/h front seat (one) - r+r

All versions

1. Undo the rear fixing bolt (1a) and remove the outer shield (1b) for the front seat in the direction shown by the arrow (1c).

Refitting

Check that the outer shield is intact.

Place the front seat outer shield in position.

Tighten the front and rear bolts fixing the front seat outer shield.

Fit the front seat backrest/cushion join inner protection in position and tighten the fixing bolt.

Fit a new cover for the front bolt fixing the front seat outer shield.

Fit the front seat height adjustment lever in position and tighten the fixing bolt.

Connect the battery negative terminal.
