Removing

1. Release and remove the moulding using suitable equipment.

2. Take care not to damage the pins for centering the moulding on the tailgate.

Refitting

Check that the moulding is undamaged.

If this is not the case, replace the moulding.

If necessary, retouch the paintwork on the moulding and/or tailgate.

Remove the residues of sealant on the inner perimeter of the moulding and the tailgate.

Apply a continuous bead of sealant with no breaks to the entire inner perimeter of the moulding.

Fit the moulding, inserting the centering pins in the housings in the tailgate.
