1.2 16v

Removing

1. Fit the flywheel lock.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the pressure plate (2b) and the clutch plate (2c).

1.4 16v

Removing

1. Fit the tool (1a) and secure it with an ordinary bolt (1b).

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and remove the clutch (2b).

1.6 16v

Removing

1. Fit the flywheel lock.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the pressure plate (2b) and the clutch plate (2c).

1.8 16v

Removing

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the clutch assembly (1b).

1.9 JTD 8v

This operation should be carried out with the engine at the bench. After having remove the power unit, separate the gearbox - differential unit from the engine and position the latter on the rotating stand for overhauling.

Remove the clutch, referring to the operations illustrated in the manual for overhauling this engine at the bench.

1.9 JTD 16v

Refer to the last operating stages illustrated in operation:

2.4 20v

This operation should be carried out with the engine at the bench. After having remove the power unit, separate the gearbox - differential unit from the engine and position the latter on the rotating stand for overhauling.

Remove the clutch, referring to the operations illustrated in the manual for overhauling this engine at the bench.

1.2 16v

Refitting

1. Replace pressure plate complete with clutch plate (1a) using tool (1b) and secure by tightening bolts (1c) to the specified torque.

1.4 16v

Refitting

1. Use the tool and fit the clutch.

2. Tighten the clutch bolts.

1.6 16v

Refitting

1. Replace pressure plate complete with clutch plate (1a) using tool (1b) and secure by tightening bolts (1c) to the specified torque.

1.8 16v

Refitting

1. Using the tool (1a) fit and then centre the clutch assembly (1b).

2. Tighten the clutch bolts.

Remove the flywheel lock.

Remove the clutch locating tool.

1.4 16v

Remove the tools.

1.6 16v

Remove the flywheel lock.

Remove the clutch locating tool.
