PUDDLE LIGHTS FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

2.0 16V JTD, 2.2 16V JTD · MY 2005

The opening of the front doors is signalled via the switch incorporated in the locks N050 (driver side) and N051 (passenger side).

When the door is opened, the (normally open) switch provides an earth signal at pin 4 (left front door) and pin 5 (right front door) from pin 1 (pin 6 for versions with child locks) for connector L of the body computer node M001.

Body computer node M001 supplies courtesy lights G051 and G052 from pin 14 of connector I once the door open signal has been received.
