| Removal and Installation Removal All Vehicles | | -
Disconnect the battery ground cable. | | | -
Support the radiator. - Use suitable wire to support the radiator to the front panel.

Remove the lower air deflector (four screws). | | | -
Disconnect the fan multiplug and unclip the wiring loom. | | | -
Disconnect the multiplug if fitted. | | | -
Detach the multiplug from the radiator support. | | | -
Remove the radiator support (four bolts). | Vehicles with automatic transmission | | -
Loosen the transmission fluid cooler pipes. | | | -
Unclip the transmission fluid pipe from the fan shroud. | | | -
Remove the transmission fluid cooler retaining bolt. | | | -
Detach the transmission fluid cooler from the radiator. - Move the bottom of the cooler away from the radiator.
- Move the cooler downwards.
- Take care not to stress the pipes whilst moving the cooler.

Remove the fan/shroud assembly. | | | -
Remove the fan and motor assembly from the shroud (three nuts). | Installation | | -
Refit the components in reverse order. - Make sure the lugs on the fan/shroud assembly are located correctly.
