Removal and Installation

Removal

All Vehicles
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  1. Drain the cooling system (refer to procedure contained in this section).
  1. Lower the vehicle.

  1. Disconnect the radiator top hose.
  1. Raise the vehicle.

  1. Remove the lower air deflector

  1. Cut the two cable ties.

  1. Disconnect and detach the loom.
    1. Disconnect the two multiplugs.
    1. Detach the two loom fixing clips.

  1. Disconnect the lower radiator hoses.
Vehicles with air conditioning

  1. Secure the air conditioning radiator to the left hand power steering pipes using a cable tie.

  1. Secure the air conditioning radiator to the right hand power steering pipes using a cable tie.
All Vehicles

  1. Support the radiator assembly and remove the right hand retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the left hand radiator retaining bolts.
    1. Detach the multiplug fixing clips .
    1. Remove the retaining bolts.

  1. Remove the radiator support bracket and the cooling fan/shroud.

  1. Detach the radiator from the air conditioning radiator.
    • Remove the two bolts.

  1. Remove the radiator.

Installation

  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
  1. Refill the cooling system and check for leaks (refer to procedure contained in this section).
