Linkage-Swirl Valve

Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair
4. Remove the air charge resonator.
5. Remove the air charge outlet tube (4).
6. Remove the vapor control valve.
7. Drain the coolant.See: Cooling System/Service and Repair
8. Remove the belly pan.

9. Remove the turbocharger.See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Turbocharger/Service and Repair/Turbocharger -

Removal

10. Remove the EGR tube (3).
